About
R’zoha is very positive, friendly and upbeat with everyone she knows or meets. She’s fairly introverted, though, so doesn’t handle lots of people as comfortably as other folks might. And while being very friendly, she’s still very quiet/shy around new people. Despite that, however, she’s very open and boisterous around those she knows well and considers a friend, so often times she is mistaken for being more extroverted than she actually is. Regardless, she does always try to help others find happiness as that brings her the most joy in her own life. Rarely focusing on her own accomplishments, she delights in hearing about the achievements of others around her.It doesn’t show often, but she is also incredibly sassy around anyone she’s most comfortable with, her younger brother, or when taunting her enemies. It’s only occasionally slipped out during meetings where she’s trying to bite her tongue. She did grow up in Limsa Lominsa, so she swears a lot and is also extremely competitive, both mostly due to being surrounded by the pirate culture. While she tries to hide or bottle her emotions, her ears and tail are a dead giveaway for how she’s feeling as they will always move according to her current mood. She will also head bump the people she loves most, as a sign of affection. When it comes to things she’s passionate about, she can sometimes be moody and emotional. She blushes easily and, while it’s pretty cute, this can sometimes frustrate her if it’s pointed out.Her default mode, when she’s with friends, is very excitable, chatty, a little clumsy, and extremely distractible. She is fairly intelligent but if something else is interesting then it has all of her attention, so she can sometimes miss details of a conversation or situation because of that. This especially happens when she’s around moogles or moogle related things. They’re her most favorite for their squishy, plump adorableness and she keeps a secret apartment in Ul’dah, to house all of her moogle related memorabilia (it’s not an addiction unless it becomes a problem, right??). The only people in Eorzea who currently know about this are her younger brother, who loves to tease her over it, and her husband Haurchefant, who’s very supportive and even encourages it, because he thinks it’s really cute when she gets excited about her interests. Her favorite food is strawberry cake and her favorite color is pastel pink (most of her wardrobe is this color). While she prefers to remain comfortable and mobile in her gear, there is a part of her that enjoys dressing up and looking really pretty for events, even if she ends up being a wallflower for most of them. Her favorite pastimes are drawing, baking, and singing (to herself, not around others) and she’s very skilled in all three. Even though she is introverted, she can definitely appreciate going out with friends from time to time, as much as cuddling up with some cocoa and a good book. She loves music and is always excited to get new recommendations from others and, despite not being well versed in it, she also loves dancing a lot as well. While considered attractive by many others, her physical appearance is much shorter than most Miqo’te her age and her chest isn’t as “well-endowed” as some of her peers. Despite her thinking these are issues, they’re never noticed by anyone else because it’s her pretty smile, bright eyes, joyful laughter, and fun personality that wins most folks over. She’s 26yrs old, 5’2”, and has dark brown, long wavy hair, that’s kept in a loose braid, and a matching long silky tail. Her left eye is a dark pink, while her right eye is a very pale pink. Both eyes used be dark pink, but the events at the Battle of Carteneau left her right eye the way it is now. While it was initially thought that this was due to aether overexposure from the mysterious flash of light on the battlefield, it isn’t until she learns of her ancient/Azem-self, Euphrosyne, that she finds out they had pale pink eyes. The unknown flash of light at Carteneau, coupled with receiving the Blessing of Light at the same time, was merely the trigger for this effect. All of her other shards also have a pale pink, right eye.She is not without fault though. She has trouble relinquishing control in situations or missions, or delegating tasks to others. Her Type-A personality shows a lot here, because she’ll often default to “well I can just do it myself”. She has trouble asking for help, and should she lose control of whatever situation she’s in it causes her a lot of stress, and she’ll get frazzled easily. She’s very much a perfectionist and will frequently criticize herself for not doing or saying things as “perfectly” as her mind made her think it should have been. She’s very prideful of her work and always wants to make sure she does a good job. This occasionally does come with an ego, as she might get a bit smug whenever she accomplishes a particularly difficult task.Unfortunately, she does also carry a heavy weight in the form of survivor’s guilt. Her parents were murdered when she was very young and, while they forced her to hide with her younger brother, she sadly saw the whole event unfold. This is compounded when she becomes the WOL, as there are more occasions where she loses others despite her best efforts. She’s only able to begin working through this after seeing her parents again in the Altiascope. Because of their past though, she is extremely protective of her little brother, as he is with her too. They ended up both receiving Hydaelyn’s Blessing and therefore share most of the WOL’s duties, so they see each other often in their work and are very close and supportive of each other.Despite her struggles, she still manages to remain resilient in difficult situations, or in the face of failure. Her optimism and confidence are often anchors for others around her, who may lose their willpower over the course of a hard battle.

I obviously change some things, from original canon, to fit my characters and personal headcanon.
Please know these are my own choices and do not reflect the views or headcanons of others.
I'm also currently still working through MSQ, so I will write more as I finish each story.

Pre A Realm Reborn
Birth (??? - 1551) - Pre ARR
This hero's story begins long before her birth. Her father, R'antha Nunh, was a well established Ala Mhigan nunh of his tribe in Gyr Abania. He was a proud and vain Miqo'te, with dark skin, a hardy laugh, and stubborn personality. Taller than most other males in the tribe, he had long blonde hair that was kept back most of the time, a fluffy unkempt tail, large fluffy ears, pink eyes, and muscular build. The tribe sat between Ala Mhigo and The Black Shroud, so he would occasionally venture out to ensure none of the Keeper tribes from the Shroud came into his area.During one of these checks, he came a little too close to the Shroud's border and ran into Azure Kaleh, a female Keeper. She was as beautiful as a lily in bloom on a clear, moonlit night, with fair skin, long brown hair, small ears, blue eyes, silky tail, and thin build. She was soft-spoken, graceful, and very observant of her surroundings. She knew he was there even before he did.It wasn't quite love at first sight. There was a bit of back and forth, of who was on who's territory first. R'antha foolishly assumed his status and charm would be enough to impress her. He was wrong. For every one of his advances, Azure had a counter, which served to only drive him more mad. Over the next few weeks, he would find himself “checking on the borders” again, to see if she was there. She always was. With each passing visit their banter eventually softened, until one day R'antha realized he was visiting more to see her than to check borders. Azure had known her feelings for him, for some time, but allowed him the time he needed to realize his. Their love was as powerful as the drowning storms in all the world's seas and sweeter than the spices of distant, foreign lands—a dizzying tempest in a garden of the most fragrant flowers and nectar.R'antha wanted to be with Azure more than any other female he'd known...but he knew he couldn't bring a Keeper back to his tribe. Azure, as well, knew her tribe would never approve mating with a Seeker. They decided to meet in secret and kept this up for several months, until Azure found out she'd become pregnant with their child. Despite the severe taboo of abandoning their tribes, R'antha especially as a nunh, their love for each other was just too strong. So they snuck away, in the quiet hours one morning, to the city state of Gridiania, catching an airship to Limsa Lominsa, becoming wed in an Eternal Bonding Ceremony, and making a living as city merchants. Just a few months later, on a stormy evening in 1551, their daughter was born.Having been very prideful of his name and nunh status, R'antha had kept his tribe name and surname, despite not actually being a nunh of any tribe by then. As such, he wanted his daughter to also carry the tribe name and his given name. Azure, being a Keeper, insisted on giving her daughter her given name. And so, together, they named her R'zoha Antha. As far as Miqo'te go, R'zoha was as short as they come, with pink eyes, a sweet face, and dark brown hair. She was as energetic as her father, and just as stubborn. She did however, inherit her mother's beauty...though not her grace, as she often barreled through areas like a grand buffalo.During these early years R'zoha enjoyed the sights and sounds of the bustling center that was Limsa Lominsa, taking in all the cultures and traditions with great interest and amazement. She especially loved watching the various adventurers that passed through. In 1554, Azure became pregnant with their second child, a son. When he was born, as they did with R'zoha, the two parents named him using the traditions from both their tribes. Per Keeper convention, he received his mother's name as his own, and per Seeker convention, received his father's tribe name. Thus, R'zoha became a big sister to R'azure Tia. He was a quiet child, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and mischievous smile. Everything seemed to fall perfectly in place for the happy family.
Age 6 (1557)
When R'zoha was 6 and R'azure was 3, their two parents decided to take a trip back to the mainland. While they loved their lives that they had made, with each other and their children, they missed their homelands. They wanted to travel back and show their children where they came from. They chose Gyr Abania first and were soon on their way back to R'antha's home.Knowing the area was in current arrest with the Garleans, they did their best to avoid most towns and common roads. Unfortunately, while trying to quickly cross through one of the more traveled areas, they were caught off guard by a Garlean patrol. With barely enough time, Azure instructed her children to hide in a nearby brush. The Garleans questioned R'antha and Azure for several minutes. R'zoha wasn't able to hear the conversation, but the soldiers seemed dissatisfied with the two Miqo'tes' answers. As the children watched from a small break in the brush, the Garleans struck down and killed their parents, then left the bodies in the road, laughing. That night, R'zoha and R'azure stayed hidden, in the brush. When her little brother finally fell asleep, she quietly cried until there were no tears left to shed. By morning sadness turned to anger and determination. The siblings gathered as much useful items that the family had on them, that they could fit in small packs, including any gil that the soldiers missed. R'zoha also quietly went to her parents bodies and took her mother's necklace. It was a blue heart pendant that glowed even in the darkest night. Her father had gifted it to her mother on their wedding day. For R'azure, she took their father's pendant; a bird skull. He always called it his "lucky charm", next to their mother of course.Being small worked to their advantage as they were able to move quickly and quietly, unnoticed by any along the way. Through either sheer luck, or willful perseverance, they were able to secretly catch rides on passing carts and soon found their way to the city of Ul'dah. With what coin they had, they managed to worm their way into the Adventurers Guild and order something warm to drink while trying figure out what to do. Luckily, the woman running the front desk took pity on them, and after hearing what happened offered a small room in the basement and leftovers from the kitchen, in exchange for work in the guild. They gladly accepted.Over the next few years this became the norm for R'zoha and R'azure. They worked during the day, doing whatever chores needed to be done in the guild. At night they would watch as all the adventurers would stream in for food, drink, or chatter. As much as R'zoha was fascinated by them, so was R'azure. They spent hours watching the armour clad sharpening their weapons, the kind-hearted patching up wounds from the day's excursions, or the damage dealers practicing the various ways they could incinerate their enemies. Over time they learned some of the minor spells and would try to practice them in their spare time.
Age 9 (1560)
Turns out, they both had quite the affinity for magic. One evening, when R'zoha was 9 and R'azure 6, they caught the eye of a rather grizzled Roegadyn Scholar. He noticed how young they were to be doing the amount of magic they were. Upon inquiry at the desk, as to their situation, he asked if he could take them under his wing for training. After some debate...and some additional coin...it was finally agreed upon. Before they knew it they were whisked away, back to their birthplace of Limsa Lominsa, where they began study under the Arcanist Guild.
Age 20 (1571)
Years went by and the two became highly skilled in their respective magics. R'zoha was an excellent Summoner by age 20, picking up several other jobs along the way that she trained in her spare time. She'd grown into a fine young woman, with fair skin and long curly hair, that she kept in a loose braid most of the time, a silky tail like her mother's, and fluffy ears. She was still one of the shortest Miqo'te around, but she made up for that with as much beauty as her mother had, and the fiery attitude of her father. Her resilience certainly made her a powerful ally to any team. By now, she had chosen to go by the nickname Zoha or Zoh, since many of the other races could pronounce it easier.R'azure went the way of the Scholars and could heal any wound that came his way. While he had taken on a few additional jobs, he ended up really preferring to learn the various crafts of the world instead. In his spare time he would spend many hours with the blacksmiths, goldsmiths, miners, alchemists, weavers, and any other craft guild he could gain access to. He too had grown into a handsome young man. His blonde hair was also long and he usually let it fall down to his shoulders. He was muscular in build with darker skin and large fluffy ears, like his father, and he spent more time calculating his actions before executing, like his mother. While initially shorter, he had grown to be much taller than Zoha. And although a chosen few could call him Azure, Zoha included, he mostly continued to go by R'azure to most. Though born a Tia, he opted to change his surname to Nunh as a way to feel closer to his father, even though there was no tribe for him to oversee. With naught else to teach them, the Arcanists let them out into the world. Promising to keep in touch with each other, the two said their goodbyes and were on their way as new adventurers.
Age 22 (1572)
The Calamity changed everything however. Zoha and R'azure joined in the war effort against the Garleans, when they began their attack. She was especially destructive against them, while R'azure kept many adventurers going strong in the battles. Their combined hatred for the Garleans made them quite the force to reckon with. Once Bahamut broke free, though, everything became a blur, as bright light enveloped them and those around them.

A Realm Reborn
Age 26 (1577) - ARR (some spoilers)
When they awoke, they could not recall how they got where they were or the events that had transpired prior. Zoha made her way back to Ul'dah and registered with the Adventurer's Guild in the city. R'azure decided to return to Limsa Lominsa, to register with their Adventurer's Guild. Writing to each other often, they began to do well for themselves, becoming well known with the locals in their Guilds. After a time, they both began to notice a change in themselves and their magicks. Not only were they much stronger than before, but they were also far more sensitive to those around them. On occasion they would feel a powerful force causing them to witness other events outside of their own lives, and sometimes could even feel or see what the other was feeling or doing. Not sure what this was, they shared it only between themselves. This effort of concealment was missed by most, save for the eyes of a neutral group known as the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. They had been seeking “exceptional” adventurers, like the siblings and others, to join their cause. With nothing tying them down, the two agreed. Her duties with the Scions kept her busy, but it did also provide quite the adventures and travels. The work was also fulfilling as Zoha helped each person or group she came across. R'azure, too, supported the work and message the Scions preached. Using his talents in healing and strategy, he worked closely with some of the other members in the group who were similar, while Zoha spent more time out in the field.Along the way they were also requested to join one of the City State's Grand Companies. While it did add more to her busy plate, it was a request Zoha couldn't afford to refuse. She opted to join The Immortal Flames of Ul'dah under General Raubahn Aldynn. The members were a hardy bunch and Zoha enjoyed their company as well. R'azure joined the Maelstrom of Limsa Lominsa, under Admiral Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn. While things with the Scions did get more political as time went on (God, she hated politics), Zoha was happy with the work and the people along side her. She was able to travel all over the realm, helping a great many of people, taking down powerful foes, and returning to tell her tales to the next eager minstrel. Even her brother was able to join her on several missions. The Scions began to grow, taking on more individuals, and beginning to work towards greater goals for all.During one particular job, she was sent to the snowy lands of Coerthas, to hunt down a missing airship. She had little experience with the people in this area and ran into a lot of resistance trying to request any kind of aid in her search. Upon reaching a location known as Camp Dragonhead, however, she found an Elezen known as Ser Haurchefant Greystone who welcomed her and offered assistance. Though only a couple years older, he was much taller than her and very handsome, with silver-blue hair and deep blue eyes. For the first time in her life Zoha found herself at a complete loss for words around him, as her father once did with her mother. While extremely kind-hearted, Haurchefant was also incredibly forward, and quite unapologetic about it, which only caused Zoha to fumble over her words even more. This mildly frustrated her, as she had zero experience with this sort of thing. In her 26 years, she had been so busy studying and working, she never once considered a relationship with anyone and thus was sorely inexperienced at how to respond to Haurchefant's advances. However, this back and forth didn't last too long, as one evening, while going over the plan for the following day, Haurchefant made his move. At the risk of sounding uninterested, Zoha was forced to admit her shortcomings to him, which unsurprisingly did not dissuade him in the slightest. He knew he loved her, and he was willing to go to any lengths to make her happy.Over the course of her time in Coerthas, she spent her days gaining the local's trust to assist in the lost airship search and trained in the various ways of Ishgardian combat with the Camp Dragonhead knights. Her every night was spent with Haurchefant, as he trained her in the various ways of love. At the time, it would have been difficult to be open about their relationship, especially since Camp Dragonhead was providing assistance to the airship search and vouching for the Scions, so they decided to keep quiet about it until a better time allowed. Not only that, inter-racial relationships were still frowned upon in many areas of Eorzea, especially ones as traditional as Ishgard's nations. Twelve be damned, though, Zoha couldn't care much less about anything but him. After several weeks, the airship had been found and she was called back to the Scions. Though disheartened to leave, she agreed to visit whenever able and both agreed to write when she could not visit. Before setting off, Haurchefant gifted her an Ishgardian Knight's ring so that she could always have a part of him with her. It was a beautiful dark metal with the crest of his family, House Fortemps, on it. She never took it off. With a kiss and a wave, she was on her way back.Jobs with the Scions began to increase in frequency, though, quite frankly, Zoha didn't really think too hard on them as she completed each task. Her thoughts were elsewhere, in the snowy north. She had excitedly told her brother about her time there, though she did leave out some particular details. R'azure was happy for her, but also a bit concerned for who the hell this Elezen was, sweeping his sister off her feet like that. They didn't have too much time to speak more on the matter, as the Scions decided to move their main base of operations to a more neutral zone. The new HQ was going to be on the south end of Coerthas, in Mor Dhona, which meant she had the ability to see Haurchefant even more. So while others struggled with the decision to move, she happily pitched in with the efforts.Over the next week or so, Zoha continued her duties and seeing to any missions she was sent on. She did get to sneak off every so often to see Haurchefant, but in time caught the keen eye of one of her closer friends in the group, Tataru, who eventually wised up and cornered Zoha for an explanation. She made her spill everything...no details spared. It was incredibly embarrassing. Tataru, however, was giddy with the new information. She agreed that the current feelings about an Ishgardian Elezen knight and a Miqo'te Scion might better wait until after things, like the Ishgardian-Dragon War, calmed down. However, her overall joy for her friend and this “secret romance” was simply too exciting to not know about. Thus, she became Zoha's confidant whenever an excuse was needed for the lovebirds. Even R'azure eventually couldn't handle his curiosity any longer, and ventured a visit to Camp Dragonhead to judge his sister's lover for himself. Though it was a short one, filled with some minor shenanigans, he did acknowledge their relationship and agreed to keep it under wraps. With things in Mor Dhona settling Zoha and R'azure eventually received a personal summons, alongside one of their comrades, Alphinaud, to meet with the Lord Commander of the Temple Knights of Ishgard, Ser Aymeric. The meeting was held in Camp Dragonhead. Like Haurchefant, Zoha noticed that Aymeric was also extremely handsome, tall, and keenly aware of his surroundings. He had black wavy hair, light blue eyes, and was very well-spoken. Unlike Haurchefant's carefree nature, Aymeric appeared graceful and poised. She could see how the two complemented their friendship with one another well.Regardless, Zoha and R'azure didn't really speak much at the meeting. Alphi, as Zoha called him, did all the political talk and negotiations. No matter, they were able to keep to the back of the room with a cup of cocoa and Haurchefant. The meeting concluded, with of course more work for the two siblings. The following morning they bid their farewells and left to handle their new assignments.Throughout the next several weeks, Zoha completed several tasks from the Lord Commander. Ishgard had no shortage of their own issues and political problems, including an ongoing war with the neighboring Dragons of Dravania, an area to the North-West of Coerthas. Along the way she and R'azure met new foes, friends, and even some others that made them question what she they were doing. Eventually though, much of it came to a head in both Ishgard and Scion HQ. While they were successful on the Ishgard front, one of their friends lost their lives on the Scion HQ front, and both Zoha and R'azure were left with more questions than answers. It didn't seem to get any better, as Ul'dah's politics also erupted in chaos (God, she really hated politics!).The scions had been framed by unknown entities and marked for high treason. Forced to evacuate the city with only Tataru and Alphi, the four realized that the only place they had to turn to were their new friends in Ishgard. At least one thing was looking up for Zoha, in that case.

Heavensward
Age 26 (1577) – HSW
(major spoilers and I do slightly change the order of things right at the end - I'm sorry)
Gaining access to Ishgard was no easy task. The people were still incredibly leery of outsiders, being shut off for so long. However, be it for Zoha or because he wanted to be nice regardless, Haurchefant was able to convince his house, House Fortemps, to take them in. To repay them for their kindness, Zoha and R'azure took on new tasking with the House, aiding them where they needed. During this time, Haurchefant made more frequent visits to the manor, and he and Zoha were becoming quite good at the number of excuses for why they needed to spend time together. This was mostly thanks, in no small part, to Tataru, who pointed out the need to continue being discrete as Haurchefant did vouch for their group to be allowed into the city, and House Fortemps was providing ever bit of protection to them despite being “wanted criminals” back home.A couple of weeks went by. Zoha continued to help where needed and her friends discussed what to do next. One afternoon, Haurchefant invited her out to Camp Dragonhead's chocobo stables. Upon arrival, he presented her with a beautiful black chocobo for her very own, that he had trained himself from it's birth. The creature was unlike any other chocobo she'd seen, bred exclusively for the harsh climate in Coerthas. She was a bit lost in its beauty when Haurchefant cleared his throat and proceeded to explain to her that Ishgardian tradition of courtship dictated the presentation of a chocobo for betrothal. In complete shock she asked him to repeat himself, only this time he simply asked for her hand. He laughed as she turned a new shade of red, but she joyfully accepted his offer. He mentioned that while some might become suspicious, given her new steed, Ishgardians were too polite to straight up ask...and quite frankly, he didn't care as he wanted to have her for himself regardless of what others thought.Zoha was beyond elated. She was ecstatic to be able to share the news with Tataru, who insisted on making her friend's dress, and her brother R'azure. They were both thrilled, though with the war becoming worse she was disappointed they couldn't share the news with others yet. Their plans were cut short, however, as the siblings were requested to accompany Alphi, a recent Ishgardian friend, Ysale, and one of Ishgard's well known Dragoons, Estinien, on several missions in Dravania. The journey would be lengthy, so they packed their things, said their goodbyes, and set off.The journey was anything if not enlightening. The group learned a great many of things and tackled a great many of problems. They befriended a few new races that Zoha and R'azure had never even seen before, and saw sights that many others would probably never see in their lifetimes. Estinien was certainly interesting company. Zoha's thoughts on him, as quiet as he was, was that he was full of himself and too caught up in his personal affairs. Nevertheless, he was useful and a decent combat companion. Ysale turned out to be slightly better company, though Zoha often felt concerned for her emotional well-being. Regardless of Zoha's personal thoughts, the group got the information they needed and completed the tasks they had set out to do. They returned to Ishgard to share their journey and findings.Upon arriving back home, as she now considered Ishgard to be such, they shared their newfound information with everyone else. Ser Aymeric personally volunteered to take the information to the Ishgardian leadership. While everyone waited for the politics to be decided on, Haurchefant approached Zoha and asked if she would be willing to go through an Eternal Bonding Ceremony that night. With political unrest building in Ishgard now, he was worried they would have little time in the future to devote to one another, at least for a while. The original plan was to finally announce their relationship after things had settled, and therefore be easier to explain and accept. But things didn't seem to be doing that at all. If anything, they were getting worse. If the two were to wed now, the only ones who could be present would be Tataru and R'azure. After seeking their advice on the situation, she agreed this was the best course of action. Preparations were quickly and quietly made, and an ordained Ishgardian acquaintance, sworn to secrecy, met them at the designated area. And so, in an undisclosed location outside of Camp Dragonhead, as the stars began to light that evening's sky, Zoha and Haurchefant pledged themselves to one another, with R'azure and Tataru as their only witnesses. Tataru's sewing skills were second to none, as the dress she'd worked on while Zoha had been away shown beautifully against the twinkling of the snow under them. As they said their final vows to one another, Zoha and Haurchefant sealed the bonding ceremony with rings and a kiss. R'azure could not have been more proud of his sister. After a few congratulations were said, Zoha hugged her brother and changed so the group could return back to the city. That night, Zoha and Haurchefant stayed in his private chambers, blissfully unaware of what awaited them the following day.In the morning, ill news arrived at the manor. Haurchefant was needed immediately as Aymeric was unsuccessful at negotiations and was now under arrest, with accusations of heresy and treason. Friends were called upon to help and both Zoha and R'azure were asked to accompany. The plan didn't really go as well as hoped, though, and all of a sudden everyone found themselves in the middle of a heated battle. Fighting to just keep themselves from being overwhelmed, Zoha and R'azure did their best, utilizing everything they had learned up to this point to save themselves and their friends. Just when it seemed like things were coming to a head, Haurchefant called to Zoha to assist where he was. As she ran through, she was unaware of a blast from behind that went straight for her.Haurchefant saw the blast before anyone else. Moving quicker than he'd ever moved, he called out to her and raised his shield as the blast hit head-on. A bright light erupted and Zoha shielded her eyes. Her last sight was of her only love, protecting her as the blast broke through his shield and struck him down. It was a fatal hit and the world stopped. She screamed as he fell and rushed to his side. Holding him as he passed, Haurchefant said one final thing to her and then to her brother before he succumbed to his injuries, despite R'azure trying desperately a close a wound far too deep for any healer's skills. Suddenly, Zoha lost all thoughts on what to do as tears fell nonstop down her face. For the sake of getting them out of there, R'azure pulled his sister from her husband's body and dragged her to away to safety. While the battle was finally over, the cost was far greater than anyone anticipated.Haurchefant's death broke Zoha. While those responsible still needed to be hunted down and the city brought back to a state of normality, her brain just shut down and she found herself on auto-pilot for most of the coming days and weeks. Bottling up her emotions, she buried herself in her work, to try and forget all of the pain. She accompanied in the search and continued all of her tasked duties, but nothing was the same for her, and only R'azure and Tataru knew the truth as to why.The siblings spent several days tracking down the perpetrators, Ishgard's own Archbishop Thordan VII of the Holy See and his Twelve Knights of The Heavens' Ward. They're search took them across many new and beautiful areas, though Zoha hardly paid attention to any of it. Finally their search brought them to Azys Lla, a floating continent build by the ancient Allagan Empire. It was the forefront of Allagan Science, and R'azure couldn't be more excited to see all of it. Zoha's mind, though, was on one thing and one thing only. Revenge. They located the Archbishop in the Aetherochemical Research Facility and Zoha lost all ability to hold back her emotions and actions. She tore furiously through the facility, annihilating everything that got in her way and getting ahead of her brother. Upon locating the Archbishop and his Knights, Zoha threw the first shot, cutting off any monologue Thordan was about to give, and without waiting for aid from her brother. Through sheer rage alone, she held up for several minutes before he brother finally caught up. Realizing he wasn't going to get through to her, he did his best to keep her healed, while focusing additional attacks on The Heavens' Ward. Together they took down Ishgard's true greatest threat, with Zoha dealing the final blow to Thordan. As he slumped to the floor, she stood there, staring at him.As fast as Zoha threw the first attack she suddenly came to her senses...all of them. Looking down, she was covered in blood, both hers and Twelve knew who else, dirt, bruises, and rips in her robes. She looked back up at Thordan's lifeless body, over at the Heavens' Ward's battered, defeated bodies, and then back at her brother. R'azure could finally see life in her eyes, and vast oceans of sorrow. She ran to him and sobbed. Huge tears and gasping breaths came from her, and A'zure held his sister for as long as she needed, sharing in her tears. After a bit, the two calmed down and composed themselves before leaving the Research Facility for good.Eventually justice was served, and the war had even come to an end, but it was a bitter victory for Zoha. She and R'azure were being hailed heroes by many in the city, for the events that had transpired, but she honestly couldn't have felt farther from the title. With peace returning to Ishgard and Dravania, now would have been the perfect time for her and Haurchefant to share their relationship with others. Eventually, however, Tataru and R'azure convinced her to tell House Fortemps and the Scions. It was important for his family and hers to know.As expected, with the current affair of things and the part she played in them, everyone was delighted for her recent nuptials, but out of respect didn't elaborate too much as each understood. Haurchefant's family, especially, were thrilled to welcome her as a part of their family. For everything that she'd done for them...and him...she'd always have a place in their home. While this did spark some joy within her, Zoha found it difficult to really feel happy. With everything that had been happening, she never had the time to sit and face her emotions. She continued going through all the motions of her missions, as though she was just an automated shell of herself. Even when the team had to leave Ishgard to attend to an issue back in Gridania, Zoha said nothing. She accepted and finished every mission with silence, hardly saying a word to anyone unless necessary.R'azure stayed at his sister's side as the two successfully accomplished clearing theirs, and the rest of the Scions', names, finally welcoming them all back to the other City States. They chatted about what was to come and he advised her to take some time for herself before shoving back into her work...even though he knew she would do that anyways. At the behest of his pleading, Zoha agreed and requested some time off to return to her home in Ishgard. There she spent a couple of weeks in the Fortemps Manor, meeting with friends and helping around with any restoration efforts. She'd even managed to have dinner with Aymeric, at his request, which was a somewhat different change of pace. Word of her relationship and marriage had reached it's way to him, and of course he wanted to offer his congratulations and condolences.Even though she still didn't feel ready to move on, physically or emotionally, she knew she needed to return to the Scions and get on with the tasks at hand. Before leaving the city, one of Haurchefant's brothers presented her with a Fortemps House shield...the exact same one Haurchefant had used to protect her with. Holding back her tears, she accepted it with heartfelt thanks. Her final visit, before leaving once again, was to Haurchefant's grave overlooking Ishgard. As she walked through the snow towards the ledge, she could feel her chest growing more painful with each step closer. She knelt down beside the gravestone and looked at the broken shield that had been placed beside it. As the sun began to set over the realm and beckon the night, Zoha bowed her head and screamed, finally allowing herself to process all the grief she had held in for so long. She cursed the heavens for taking him, for leaving her so alone. She screamed and screamed and screamed, until she was sure all of the Twelve knew just how angry and hurt she'd been. Then finally, as snow began to fall, she raised herself up, tears still flowing down her face, and slowly turned to walk back down the hill.
